The Silver Spring office is a 10-minute walk from the Silver Spring Metro stop on the Red Line, and the Amtrak Marc Train stop for the Brunswick Line. The office is also accessible via the 28 Bus and the Van Go free Silver Spring Circulator and is surrounded by metered street and garage parking.

Double board-certified reproductive endocrinologist, Lauren Roth, M.D., who joined SGF in 2015 and was recently named Maryland’s The Daily Record Leading Women Honoree, will be the attending physician at this location.

“We feel that providing fertility care closer to home will reduce the time demands and stress that can often be associated with fertility treatment,” commented Dr. Roth. “By expanding our services in Montgomery County, where we are seeing an increase in population, the ability to make access to fertility care more convenient will hopefully allow more people to seek the help they need to build their families,” adds Roth.

About Dr. Lauren Roth

“Dr. Roth is the type of steady professional you need for something as challenging as infertility treatment. Thanks to her we now have a beautiful, healthy, baby girl after almost giving up hope after years of trying. She is honest, realistic, and determined. She explained everything clearly, listened to our concerns and respected our choices while communicating her professional opinion. She was also very accessible always replying to emails and phone messages during my wife’s IVF [in vitro fertilization] treatment,” remarked one recent Dr. Roth patient.

“My husband and I underwent treatment at several facilities before coming to Shady Grove Fertility and meeting Dr. Roth. I wish we had come sooner! After 14 failed rounds previously (including three rounds of IVF), we successfully conceived after our FIRST round with Dr. Roth doing ovulation induction and intrauterine insemination (IUI). It was truly unbelievable. Dr. Roth was so personable and easy so work with. I felt like she truly cared when we told her our story. Our daughter is about to turn 5 months old!” shared another Dr. Roth patient.

Many Marylanders have an advantage over residents of other states when it comes to infertility insurance legislation as Maryland was the first state in the nation to enact infertility insurance legislation and is now the third state that also covers fertility preservation prior to cancer treatment. For those without adequate insurance coverage, SGF offers unique financial programs such as its Shared Risk 100% Refund Program and income-based Shared Help Program that aim to make treatment affordable to all. “These programs were specifically designed so that cost does not become a barrier to seeking treatment,” says Roth.
