Patient Testimonial
The Shady Grove Fertility office in Towson handled every appointment with the most respect, sincerity, and kindness I have ever experienced.

Dr. Barnard was wonderful to work with! I appreciated her care, patience, support, and calming demeanor. She was responsive, knowledgeable, and compassionate. While this process can be very intimidating and overwhelming, I felt better knowing that I had her on my side.

The absolute best! Dr. Amrane is so caring and considerate!

Dr. Beall and Nurse Natalie were specifically outstanding and a pleasure to work with. The icing on the cake is our beautiful baby boy.

Dr. Beall was the most caring doctor I have been to. She listens to each question carefully and explains everything so well.

Dr. Beall was professional and knowledgeable, and has outstanding bedside manners!

Maryland Mandate

The Maryland Insurance Article Section 15-810, “Benefits for In Vitro Fertilization,” requires health and hospital insurance policies issued within the state that provide pregnancy benefits to also cover the cost of in vitro fertilization (IVF). There is a limit of three IVF attempts per live birth; not to exceed a maximum lifetime benefit of $100,000.
Effective January 1, 2021, Maryland’s infertility insurance law no longer has a marriage requirement, and the 2-year “waiting” period has been reduced to 1 year of unprotected sexual intercourse or three attempts of artificial insemination in the course of a year. Visit our State Insurance Laws page to learn more about the Maryland Mandate’s criteria and exemptions.
