Vote for SGF Finalists in Ferring’s Heart to Heart Video Contest February 1–15, 2016
Ferring Pharmaceuticals has announced their finalists for their annual Heart to Heart contest and two of Shady Grove Fertility’s patients are finalists (The Behlendorf Family and The Murphy/Glickman Family)! One of the finalists is a patient of Dr. Jeanne O’Brien of SGF’s Rockville, MD, location and the other is a patient of Dr. David Saffan of SGF’s Annandale, VA, location. How can you help one of them become a winner? By casting your vote every day between February 1 and February 15, 2016!
What is the Heart to Heart contest?
The goal of the Heart to Heart video essay contest is to raise awareness for infertility, which affects millions of Americans, and to provide inspiration and words of encouragement to others who are struggling to build or grow their families. Each video is an account of each person’s unique journey to parenthood. The mantra for this contest “Have Heart, Share Hope” is intended to build a community of support and let others know that you are not alone.
How can I vote in the Heart to Heart contest?
Watch the finalists’ videos here and vote! Voting is open from February 1 through 15 and you can vote one time each day. The grand prize winner will receive a $10,000 educational fund (use as 529 or similar savings) for their child. The four runner-ups will receive a $4,000 educational fund for their child.
In 2013, patients of Dr. Stephen Greenhouse, Aren and Jeff Dodge, won the grand prize for the Heart to Heart video essay contest, and it was, in part, thanks to the enthusiasm and support of other SGF patients who voted for them. Their heartwarming story recounts the many steps in their journey that lead them to their miracle.
