Physician experts and other program specialists will discuss topics ranging from how to know if you’re infertile, infertility testing for women and men, basic and advanced treatment options, success rates, affording fertility care, and much more. Each event concludes with a question and answer session so that attendees have the opportunity to get their personal questions answered by the practice’s physician experts.
“Many people are fearful to take that first step in their fertility care and talk with a specialist because they don’t know what to expect or where to begin. Our events are intended to alleviate some of that apprehension by educating attendees about their fertility in an effort to help those struggling with infertility gain the confidence to move forward,” says physician host Eric Levens, M.D., of Shady Grove Fertility’s new Fairfax, VA office. Dr. Levens will be hosting the “What to Expect When You’re Not Expecting” in-person seminar at the SGF’s Fairfax, VA office on Tuesday, December 12 at 7:00 p.m.
What many women don’t realize is that their menstrual cycle can provide valuable insights to their fertility potential and ability to conceive. “Determining if your menstrual cycle is ‘normal’ and being aware of early warning signs is an important part of determining if you need to see a specialist,” says Ricardo Yazigi, M.D., of Shady Grove Fertility’s Towson, MD and Bel Air, MD offices. Dr. Yazigi will host the “What Your Menstrual Cycle Says about Your Fertility” webinar on Tuesday, December 19 at noon.
