Shady Grove Fertility invites information seekers interested in learning more about preconception health, assisted reproduction technologies, the benefits of egg freezing, and much more to attend the second annual Canadian Fertility Show, featuring keynote speaker, reproductive endocrinologist and Shady Grove Fertility Canada Program Director, Joseph Doyle, M.D. on February 23, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 5 PM at the International Centre in Mississauga, ON Canada.
The event will feature 60 exhibitors, three lecture halls running throughout the day on a variety of topics related to family planning and fertility, and a panel discussion on surrogacy and adoption—a new feature of this year’s program. Other featured speakers include Marjorie Dixon, M.D. who will discuss IVF 101, and Jodie Peacock, M.D. who will cover how to optimize your fertility with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Admission is CA$20.
Keynote speaker, SGF’s Dr. Doyle, earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, USA. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in Boston, MA. Dr. Doyle then completed a 3-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Massachusetts General Hospital.
During his training, Dr. Doyle received several teaching and clinical excellence awards. His research efforts focused on oocyte cryopreservation; he presented numerous times at national and international meetings and has authored multiple publications. Dr. Doyle has also been the recipient of numerous excellence in patient care awards, including most recently the Washingtonian’s Top Doctors for Infertility, 2017 and 2018.
Following the Canada Fertility Show on February 23, attendees are invited to attend a more in-depth look at seeking donor egg treatment in America during SGF’s informational patient seminar in Toronto on February 24 at the Marriott Toronto Easton Centre Hotel from 10 AM to 12 PM.
At the seminar, SGF’s Dr. Doyle will outline the process and discuss the specifics about this unique program that enables patients from Canada to access treatment in the United States. Patients will have the opportunity to ask questions about donor egg success rates, traveling to the States for treatment, and what’s involved in choosing a donor. Attendees will also learn about two of SGF’s unique financial programs that make treatment affordable: Shared Donor Egg Programand Shared Risk 100% Refund Program for Donor Egg Treatment. Patients can qualify for SGF’s Shared Donor Egg and Shared Risk 100% Refund Programs. Combined, these programs offer patients up to six donor egg cycles for one flat fee. If the patient does not take home a baby or chooses to opt out of the program before reaching six cycles, SGF gives a full refund.
“Our International Donor Egg Program for Canadian patients offers concierge-level care, unparalleled support, and esteemed medical teams. We’ve been fortunate to have more than 5,000 babies born and counting through this program, with many patients raving about their positive experience,” shares Amanda Segal, International Donor Egg Liaison.
As part of Shady Grove Fertility’s International Donor Egg Program, patients work locally with select Canadian fertility centers, while gaining access to Shady Grove Fertility’s ready to cycle donors through their donor registry. Through this unique program, couples and individuals will have the ability to choose a medically, genetically, and psychologically prescreened donor, without having to wait. Furthermore, through SGF’s program, only two visits to the U.S. are needed.
“Our donor egg program provides patients with a highly effective treatment option to overcome infertility, with a 60 percent clinical pregnancy rate per embryo transfer,” says Dr. Doyle.
