The Spring-Woodlands team offers comprehensive reproductive care for individuals and couples throughout the greater Houston area, including intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), and LGBTQIA+ family building. Jaimin S. Shah, M.D., and Jason S. Griffith, M.D., lead the Spring-Woodlands care team. Both physicians are Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and both bring a collaborative approach to every consultation, translating complex diagnostic results into a clear plan for next steps.

SGF is proud to make fertility treatment more affordable by accepting exclusive fertility benefits provided by employers/companies as well as third-party administrators. SGF patients who choose to use their benefits from the below list of providers will enjoy negotiated preferred service rates and a streamlined claims process.

IVF costs vary based on your diagnosis, treatment plan, and whether you’re using donor eggs, sperm, or a gestational carrier. Your SGF Financial Educator walks through your specific costs and payment options — including the Shared Risk 100% refund program and financing — before treatment begins. 

Texas insurance requirements differ from other states, so coverage depends on your specific plan. Many SGF patients have some coverage for testing and initial consultations, and our team verifies your benefits before treatment begins. 

Texas law requires group insurers to offer IVF coverage, but employers can choose whether to include it in their health benefit package, so coverage isn’t guaranteed. Texas law separately requires health plans to cover fertility preservation services, such as egg or sperm freezing, for patients facing a medically necessary cancer treatment that may affect fertility.
