Wende Allen brings over 25 years of experience as a Physician Assistant to Shady Grove Fertility, specializing in infertility and advanced gynecologic care. She works closely with our physicians in all aspects of evaluation and management of our patients and performs many of the diagnostic procedures for the Towson office.

Ms. Allen completed her undergraduate studies in Behavior Science at York College of Pennsylvania in 1990. She then received her degree as a Physician Assistant in 1992, graduating with highest honors from Essex College in Baltimore, MD. She maintains Board Certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is an Affiliate with both the Maryland Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Physician Assistants in OB/GYN.

Ursula Rocha, CRNP, completed her undergraduate degree in Women’s Studies with an emphasis on Women’s Health from University of Maryland, College Park in 1998. Ursula then earned her Nursing/Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 1999. She then went on to receive a Masters of Science from Frontier Nursing University in 2016.

Ursula maintains Board Certification for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses through the Maryland Board of Nursing, and Nurse Practitioner certification through the National Certification Corporation. She is a member of the Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH) and the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland (NPAM).

Ursula’s nursing career spans over 17 years dedicated to women’s health primarily in labor and delivery, with many years serving the military. She now resides in Edgewater, Maryland with her husband and 3 children and enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

Now at Shady Grove Fertility, Ursula works in the Rockville, MD Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).

Loretta Trumble, CRNP completed her undergraduate studies in Kinesiology in 1991 and nursing in 1993 both from the University of Maryland. After doing women’s health research and working in labor and delivery, Loretta then went on to complete her Masters as well as Nurse Practitioner program from the University of Maryland in 2001. Loretta spent over 12 years as an OB/GYN nurse practitioner, including most recently at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians.

Loretta maintains Board Certification through the Maryland Board of Nursing and the National Certification Corporation. She is a member of the National Nurse Practitioner Association and the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland.

While caring for women across their lifespan, Loretta’s areas of interest include: exercise in pregnancy, adolescent gynecology, menopausal treatments and infertility concerns. Loretta lives with her husband and their son. In her spare time, she likes to exercise, read and cook.

Now at Shady Grove Fertility, Loretta works with our physicians in the evaluation and management of patients. Some of Loretta’s responsibilities include: performing diagnostic procedures, treatment procedures, monitoring patients as well as calling patients with results. She will be in our Towson and Columbia offices.
