SGF is proud to match fertility treatment grants provided to patients from non-profit organizations.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Shady Grove Fertility (SGF), a national leader in fertility and family-building care, is proud to announce a new grant-matching initiative to help make treatment more affordable and accessible to patients looking to build their families.

“At SGF, we believe in helping patients well beyond the exam room and are always looking for new ways to expand access to care,” shares Lauren Roth, M.D., SGF medical director who provides care at SGF’s Rockville, MD, location. “In addition to our innovative discounts and financing programs, there are many outside organizations who share our mission of helping more people build the families of their dreams. We are thrilled to now match these treatment grants, dollar for dollar.”

Under the new guidelines, SGF will match 100% of the grant value, up to 25% of the service charge. Grant matching only applies for 501(c)(3) organizations and is applicable only to grants.

“Just like our Shared Risk 100% Refund program, which was founded on the premise of a shared investment in family-building care alongside our patients, this new grant-matching program is another way SGF is leading the way in helping more families on their path to parenthood,” shares Jason G. Bromer, M.D., who provides care at SGF’s Wexford, PA, and Hagerstown and Frederick, MD, locations. “We want our patients to know we are with them every step of their journey, and that includes ensuring that treatment is within reach.”

In the fight to expand access to care, many SGF physicians are involved in advocacy at the local, state, and national levels to help patients gain the insurance coverage they would need to move forward with treatment. Additionally, SGF endorses and supports the mission of many 501(c)(3) organizations dedicated to advancing access to care, patient advocacy, and fertility research.

“SGF is proudly partnered with grassroots advocates like the Cade Foundation, as they give a voice to isolated communities and lead the way in helping more patients access care,” shares Rebecca Chason, M.D., who provides care at SGF’s Annapolis, MD location. “Matching grants is an incredible way we can invest in our patients’ future and show them that we are all truly in this together.”
