Shady Grove Fertility, the largest fertility center in the nation with more than 40,000 babies born to date, is proud to pledge its continued support and commitment to RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association. RESOLVE is a non-profit organization who works to improve the lives of men and women who are struggling to build their family by providing a sup
portive community, helping them form connections with others who can help in their journey, and empowering them to seek the appropriate support, tools, and resources.
Just last month Shady Grove Fertility was a premiere Big Apple Sponsor of RESOLVE’S Night of Hope. The Night of Hope is the official awards gala for RESOLVE, where individuals and organizations who support the infertility community celebrate the collective dedication to improving the lives of women and men living with infertility.
Chief Executive Officer of Shady Grove Fertility, Mark Segal, presented the Hope Award for Advocacy that is given to an individual, organization, or corporation whose work has raised public awareness, advanced a legislative agenda, or prompted change for the benefit of those diagnosed with infertility. “It was an incredible honor to present the Hope Award for Advocacy and celebrate the tremendous strides Shady Grove Fertility and RESOLVE have made in the community to advocate, educate, and raise awareness about infertility,” says Segal.
Through partnerships and memberships Shady Grove Fertility has raised and donated more than $200,000 to support RESOLVE’s mission. RESOLVE uses money raised to fund programming, host support groups, create educational content, and orchestrate awareness initiatives to ensure that family building options are available to everyone.
Shady Grove Fertility will be partnering with RESOLVE on a social campaign that is intended to bring awareness to the community about important topics such as receiving access to care and insurance coverage for treatment. With 1 in 8 couples experiencing infertility, Shady Grove Fertility and RESOLVE share the same mission to bring awareness to the community and let people who are struggling to conceive know they are not alone. The social campaign is set to launch in December 2016.
