As the largest infertility provider in the United States, Shady Grove Fertility has been designated a Center of Excellence by Optum™.

Rockville, MD (PRWEB) March 22, 2017

Shady Grove Fertility, among the respected leaders in the fertility community, which has helped bring more than 40,000 babies into this world, has been designated a Center of Excellence by Optum.

Optum and Shady Grove Fertility are committed to providing quality infertility services to men and women trying to conceive. According to Optum, “The truth is, not all health care providers are created equally. For complex medical conditions, the disparity is especially high. Through a rigorous evaluation process, Optum has developed Centers of Excellence networks that provide access to clinically superior, cost-effective health care.”

In order to earn this distinction, Shady Grove Fertility demonstrated successful clinical outcomes and exceptional physician experience, staffing, and facilities, as well as maintained accreditation status and continuous quality assurance.

As a result of increased demand from patients, Shady Grove Fertility has recently welcomed three new physicians to the Pennsylvania medical team.

Dr. Ryan Martin is a Yale University-trained fertility specialist, where he also served as an instructor at the Yale University School of Medicine and earned numerous teaching awards. Dr. Martin joins Shady Grove Fertility in Bala Cynwyd, PA after building a successful fertility practice in New Haven, CT.

Dr. Kara Nguyen is one of only a few physicians to be triple-board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and medical genetics. Dr. Nguyen has practiced in Pennsylvania for several years, and now sees patients at Shady Grove Fertility’s Reading, PA office.

Dr. Caleb Kallen earned his medical degree and doctorate in philosophy (Molecular and Cellular Biology) from the University of Pennsylvania.
