About Our Cary Fertility Center

SGF Carolinas offers full-service fertility and in vitro fertilization (IVF) care at our Cary fertility clinic. SGF’s first location in North Carolina is equipped with a compassionate and experienced care team to help patients in the Triangle realize their dreams of parenthood.

Dr. Jennifer Mersereau, Dr. Leah Bressler, Dr. Christina N.C. Mitchell, and Ellie Andres, PA-C (all formally at UNC Fertility), along with their highly trained medical team offer patients a warm and collaborative approach to patient treatment and care. On-site services include consultations, semen analysis and sperm cryopreservation, ultrasounds, blood draws, inseminations, IVF, oocyte cryopreservation (egg freezing), etc.

Our Cary location is home to SGF Carolinas’ IVF and embryology lab, led by Lab Director and Manager Douglas Peak. Patients who start at our North Raleigh center come to Cary for surgical procedures.

For $99 per person: a reproductive health questionnaire and AMH testing or semen analysis, reviewed by our clinical care team including a reproductive endocrinologist, plus a personalized phone consultation with a senior fertility nurse and clear next steps.

At this time, SGF Carolinas is in network with Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, BCBS and Cigna insurances and our accepted fertility benefits including Progyny. All other appointments will require self-pay for visits and treatments.

The SGF care team is actively working with insurance companies and hope to allow for insurance coverage for applicable insurance plans in the upcoming year. SGF is proud to make fertility care accessible by offering the Shared Risk 100% Refund program for self-pay patients. Your dedicated financial counselor will discuss all pricing and financial programs with you after you meet with your physician.

SGF is proud to make fertility treatment more affordable by accepting exclusive fertility benefits provided by employers/companies as well as third-party administrators. SGF patients who choose to use their benefits from the below list of providers will enjoy negotiated preferred service rates and a streamlined claims process.

Some fertility benefit administrators may require employees to enroll directly with their organization in order to be eligible for fertility treatment benefits. FAQs about our fertility clinic and IVF lab in Cary, North Carolina

We are at 6730 McCrimmon Pkwy, Cary, NC 27519, in Research Triangle Park, about 10 minutes from RDU International Airport.

It means your retrieval, your embryos, and the team caring for them are all under one roof. When your eggs are retrieved at our Cary location, they go directly to our embryology lab, where our embryologists fertilize them, track their development, and freeze any embryos you want to save for later.

All egg retrievals and embryo transfers take place in our Cary location.

SGF Carolinas in Cary is in network with Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Medcost, and UnitedHealthcare, and accepts fertility benefits through Carrot, Maven Clinic, Optum, and Progyny. Confirm your coverage with your carrier.
