Maryland Mandate

The Maryland Insurance Article Section 15-810, “Benefits for In Vitro Fertilization,” requires health and hospital insurance policies issued within the state that provide pregnancy benefits to also cover the cost of in vitro fertilization (IVF). There is a limit of three IVF attempts per live birth; not to exceed a maximum lifetime benefit of $100,000.
Effective January 1, 2021, Maryland’s infertility insurance law no longer has a marriage requirement, and the 2-year “waiting” period has been reduced to 1 year of unprotected sexual intercourse or three attempts of artificial insemination in the course of a year.   5. Turn right onto Oakwood Road
  6. Turn right onto Hospital Drivr
  7. Left into Aiello building parking lot, then continue left to the side entrance

  1. Take MD-2 N/Ritchie Highway S toward Baltimore
  2. Take the MD-10 ramp toward MD-100 W/I-695/Baltimore
  3. Stay straight to go onto MD-10 N
  4. Merge onto MD-100 W via the exit on the left
  5. Take the Oakwood Road exit (exit 15)
  6. Turn left onto Oakwood Road
  7. Turn right onto Hospital Drive
  8. Left into Aiello building parking lot, then continue left to the side entrance

  1. All patients visiting this office need to use the left rear entrance labeled with the sign “Aiello Breast Center” (directly over the suite entrance). Suite B100 is not accessible from the main entrance.
