To support our patients during treatment, our nutrition, massage, and acupuncture therapies provided by the SGF Wellness Center are designed to help patient’s achieve optimal health and wellness of mind, body, and spirit throughout their fertility journey. Our practitioners are experts in many areas of reproductive health and are specially trained to serve the unique needs of our patients. In partnership with your physician, our practitioners will work with you and your medical staff to develop a personalized plan that is integrated with your treatment to help you achieve the best possible results.
Meet the Team
Meghan is a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist who believes in the healing power of “real food”—the less processed the better. Meghan loves food and is passionate about teaching others how our diet is directly connected to hormonal balance, nutritional health, and general well being. She understands the rigors of fertility treatments and is dedicated to coaching women how to nutritionally prepare their bodies for improved cycle outcomes and to carry a healthy pregnancy. Meghan received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Delaware and went on to complete her clinical internship rotations at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She is eager to continue her studies in Integrative and Functional Nutrition to further broaden her scope of practice.
Sabrina Uy-Hwang received a dual masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal medicine from Maryland University of Integrative Health and is nationally certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM. She has developed specialties in reproductive health for both men and women as well as prenatal/postpartum care. Sabrina’s passion lies in bringing health and vitality to each individual that walks through her door. Through an integrative approach and patient education, she aims to support patients’ physical and emotional health and improve overall function and well-being wherever they are in their fertility journey.
Erika Lessey is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist with specialties in Fertility and Oncology. She earned her Master of Science in 2003 at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California. Erika spent several years working alongside renowned Dr. Lifang Liang, M.D. (China) in San Francisco providing support for patients undergoing fertility treatments including IUI and IVF. Erika also provided acupuncture to low income women with cancer at the Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic in Oakland, California. Erika was in private practice for over 12 years at the Lotus Center of San Francisco, the wellness center associated with UCSF Osher Center, and treated a wide variety of conditions for a highly diverse community. Erika is nationally certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture with NCCAOM.
Seung J. Park, Licensed Acupuncturist
Seung J. Park received a Ph.D in Oriental Medicine from American Liberty University in California and a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University in California. He is also nationally certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture by the NCCAOM. Seung J.’s specialties include reproductive health and sports injury. His clinical goal is to help every patient in the treatment room leave with a better feeling and less pain. His advanced education and years of experience have provided him with a variety of skills and clinical techniques that help him improve patients’ health, both physically and emotionally, to ultimately support their fertility goals.
Ah Reum Park received a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from Maryland University of Integrative Health and is nationally board certified acupuncturist by the NCCAOM. She specializes in the treatment of female reproductive health, fertility enhancement, postpartum, and pain management. She treats patients who are trying to conceive naturally or through the use of assisted reproductive techniques (ART) such as IUI and IVF. Ah Reum combines her diverse background and experience to provide holistic health care and help patients to achieve wellness goals.
Marcie Miller, FEM Certified Practitioner, Licensed Massage Therapist
Marcie D. Miller has been practicing massage since graduating from Baltimore School of Massage in 2001. Because of her interest in women’s health and well-being, she pursued further training in Mother Massage® Pre and Postnatal Bodywork, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and Pulling Down the Moon’s FEM protocol. She also incorporates stretching, breathing, and body-mind awareness techniques combined with intuition and creativity to give each client a high quality and uniquely personalized massage experience. She is delighted to bring her years of experience and her deep passion for massage to women who are working hard to make their dreams of becoming a parent come true.
Janneth Giron, FEM Certified Practitioner, Licensed Massage Therapist
Janneth graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage in 2005. With a prior background in physical therapy, Janneth specializes in different massage techniques such as Manual Lymphatic Drainage and craniosacral therapy. Janneth is passionate and very well regarded with all the current and past clients because of her professionalism and care for her patients’ health and well-being.
