weight and fertility on-demand webinar available now
Many factors impact fertility, and weight is no exception. There is a strong correlation between a woman’s body mass index (BMI) and her fertility potential.
Being overweight, obese, or underweight can have a negative impact on fertility. Compared to normal weight women, underweight, overweight, and obese women have a harder time getting pregnant and have a higher rate of miscarriage when pregnancy does occur.
During the on-demand event, hosted by SGF's registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist, Meghan Sylvester, viewers will learn about the impact weight, either over or under, has on the ability to conceive and tips for maintaining and achieving a healthy body mass index (BMI).
