Patient Testimonial
I began my own egg-freezing journey as an OB/GYN resident. Looking back 10 years later, now 38 years old, engaged, and ready to start my own family, I’m relieved to have frozen my eggs. At the same time, I feel obligated to give back and address the toll that surgical training has on women.

– Valerie Libby, M.D., M.P.H. | SGF Atlanta | Program Lead |

SGF in Alpharetta is fantastic. The office is beautiful and brand new. The office and clinical staff are friendly, they make you feel comfortable and they are very accommodating. I have never had to wait long for my appointment.

I have only wonderful things to say about Dr. Gay and his staff at the Alpharetta location. Knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional… I could not have asked for better care.

Dr. Swelstad has somehow perfected the difficult balance of being thoroughly educated and up to date in his field and patient and kind enough to make you feel important to him.

Dr. Libby was just amazing. We had a long journey and she was right there with us in the trenches. She was our third fertility doctor. She thought outside the box, was willing to try new things, was open to our questions, and used her team to help us.

I went through IVF with Dr. Humm. I felt heard, comforted, and comfortable the whole way. The support staff were beyond fantastic and turned what would have been a scary experience, into something that my husband and I never felt like we were navigating alone.

Q&A

A: I spent my early nursing career working in pediatrics. The most memorable part for me was caring for not only the pediatric patient, but for the family as a whole. Throughout NP school, I developed a passion for women’s health. The innovative world of reproductive medicine and my role here at SGF provided me with the best of both worlds while also helping patients along their journey of building a family.

A: I enjoy traveling, baking, and trying new recipes. My husband and I are absolute foodies, and we love to try new restaurants whenever we can!

A: I’m usually not one to repeat shows once I’ve seen all the seasons, but I love Friends so much — I have almost every single episode memorized!
