Shipra Shah, MSN, RN, FNP-C, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing followed by a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her NP clinical experience started with pediatrics, followed by urgent care, internal medicine, and wrapped up with obstetrics and gynecology where she performed routine gynecological examinations, ordered screening and diagnostic tests, and provided preventative gynecologic care and prenatal and contraception counseling.
Shipra spent the first several years of her nursing career working with pediatric patients in Virginia. As she progressed through her NP clinicals, she developed a passion for women’s health. Shipra then transitioned to reproductive medicine with Shady Grove Fertility Tampa Bay, drawn to the field’s scientific innovations while also being able to help people along their family building journeys.
Since joining SGF in March 2021, Shipra’s responsibilities include counseling patients on various fertility treatments, performing monitoring and baseline ultrasounds for fertility preservation and treatments, and completing intrauterine inseminations (IUI), endometrial biopsies, mock embryo transfers, and more.
Shipra currently cares for patients as a Nurse Practitioner at SGF Tampa Bay’s Brandon office. In her free time, Shipra enjoys traveling, cooking, and exploring new restaurants with her foodie husband.
