    Q & A

Q: Why did you choose to work in reproductive medicine?

I have always loved science and knew that I would like to choose a career that was in service of others. Because reproductive medicine is a relatively new field, it is constantly evolving which is very exciting. I fell in love with the idea of helping families in such a profound manner by being part of the journey to have a child.

    Q: What are your hobbies?

My husband Steve and I have 3 children, a daughter and twin boys. We are a very busy family on the weekends between dance and soccer. I absolutely love to travel and explore new places and cultures. I had the opportunity this year to take a trip to Paris and Rome with my husband and daughter. I was thrilled to be able to share my love of travel with my daughter and see her emerging excitement through her eyes.

Q: What is something about you that would surprise most people?

After graduate school, I lived in Colombia South America for about a year. I trained in infectious Disease while I was there. I am able to speak Spanish as well as Italian!
