Donor Egg Program
Shady Grove Fertility has performed over 1800 egg donation treatment cycles since 2007 and since the inception of the Egg Donor Program in 1994, over 2500 couples have been matched with a qualified egg donor.
| Don't Miss |
Our experience and proven results have contributed to high patient satisfaction with our performance and coordination of this complex procedure. The overall success rate in the egg donation program is an excellent 62% clinical pregnancy rate per embryo transfer and our Shared Donor Egg Program has cut the cost of treatment by 50% without compromising success. We are proud to offer several donor egg programs and financial options to accommodate individual circumstances.

Shared vs. Non-Shared
Shared Donor means that more than one couple can be matched with one egg donor. The cycles of each couple are synchronized and the eggs that are retrieved from that donor are shared between the recipients. Our goal is to transfer one or two good quality embryos to the recipient. If any extra good quality embryos remain, they can be frozen. An analysis of our experience with over 2,000 egg donor cycles clearly demonstrates that the majority of egg donors will produce enough eggs to share with more than one recipient.
Shady Grove Fertility developed Shared Donor Egg in response to one of the major barriers donor egg recipients face, the lack of insurance coverage for an expensive, highly successful procedure. Shared Donor Egg is a very popular option that can reduce the cost of treatment by up to 50%, or it can offer a 6 cycle 100% money-back guarantee for the same cost as a non-shared donor egg cycle. The pregnancy rates for patients, who have selected this program, are equal to the pregnancy rates of non-shared egg donation. Read more about the Shared Donor Program.
About Our Donors
Any woman between the ages of 21-31 who is healthy and has a healthy family history may be initially considered for egg donation. All egg donor candidates must complete a medical history and genetic questionnaire that is reviewed by our staff. Read more about our donors and recruitment process.
