Shady Grove Fertility (SGF) announced today the opening of its newest satellite location in Silver Spring, Maryland,the fourth most populous city in the state of Maryland, and the second largest city in Montgomery County.
The increasing demand for convenient access to specialized fertility care in Silver Spring and the surrounding area is what prompted the opening of this new office, joining 4 full-service Maryland locations and 2 satellite locations throughout D.C., and Montgomery County.
The Silver Spring location will offer new patient and follow-up appointments, egg freezing consultations, and oncofertility consultations. For high and low-tech fertility treatment monitoring, diagnostic evaluation, and other appointments, patients will visit the full-service Rockville, MD location, which is home to the largest freestanding fully accredited in vitro fertilization (IVF) lab in the nation.
The Silver Spring office is a 10-minute walk from the Silver Spring Metro stop on the Red Line, and the Amtrak Marc Train stop for the Brunswick Line. The office is also accessible via the 28 Bus and the Van Go free Silver Spring Circulator and is surrounded by metered street and garage parking.
Double board-certified reproductive endocrinologist, Lauren Roth, M.D., who joined SGF in 2015 and was recently named Maryland’s The Daily Record Leading Women Honoree, will be the attending physician at this location.
