Biography

Shana Perman, PA-C graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. Her career started in the neonatal intensive care unit and she worked at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for 6 years. She transitioned to the field of infertility in 2013. She works closely with our physicians in all aspects of evaluation and management of our patients.

Shana maintains Board Certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Q&A

Shady Grove was a pivotal career change for me. I had never thought about working in infertility until I had to go through treatment myself. My children and my journey through infertility are some of my greatest accomplishments. I’m proud of this and hope I portray that empathy to the patients I help everyday.

I like to organize, listen to podcasts, and enjoy some cold brew while working through my planner.

I danced from childhood through college and competed in jazz and lyrical.
