About Rosalie Gunson, CRNP
R osalie (Rosie) Gunson, CRNP, earned her Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Johns Hopkins University in 2005. After working for 10 years as a labor and delivery nurse, travel nurse, and nurse at Shady Grove Fertility she went on to complete her Master’s degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2015. After completing her Master’s, Rosie worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Cornell’s Center for Reproductive Medicine in New York.
Rosie currently maintains board certification through the National Certification Corporation and is a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Maryland and Virginia.
Rosie is dedicated to caring for women over their lifespan. Areas of special interest include health and exercise in pregnancy and infertility. She is a certified yoga and prenatal yoga instructor.
Rosie lives with her husband and daughter and enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and cooking in her spare time.
Currently, Rosie is a Nurse Practitioner at Shady Grove Fertility working with physicians in the evaluation and management of patients out of Richmond’s Henrico and Stony Point offices.

- Perform ultrasounds – baseline, monitoring, obstetric
- Perform saline sonograpms/mock embryo transfers (SIS/MET)
- Perform hysterosalpingograms (HSGs)
- Perform intrauterine inseminations (IUIs)
- Review lab results

Q: Why did you choose to work in reproductive medicine?
A: I choose to work in reproductive medicine because I have always been interested in women’s health and after working labor and delivery for 10 years wanted to see the beginning of the process and help women trying to get pregnant.

A: My hobbies include cooking and travel.
