Q & A
Q: Who inspires you?
A: I am inspired by patients every day. Their strength in the face of adversity, and willingness to sacrifice time, emotional state, and resources makes me want to do my very best every time.
Q: What are your hobbies and why do you enjoy them?
A: My main hobby is travel. I especially enjoy travel with my wife and sons. It is a pure joy to experience the discovery of new places and cultures with them.
Q: What about SGF makes you the most proud?
A: I am most proud of the absolute commitment to quality by each and every staff member. The culture of the practice is that each member of the team knows they are integral to patient success and experience.
Q: Describe a time when you were inspired by a patient.
A: I was in the Navy on 9/11. A patient’s husband died in the Pentagon that day. A few months later, she came to the office to thank our team for helping them build their family together and bringing such amazing joy to her husband before he died. She then dedicated herself to creating a charity in her husband’s honor to help other military families struggling with infertility at Walter Reed by funding travel expenses. Her selflessness continues to inspire me today.

“I started seeing Dr. McKeeby back in 2019, and he has been nothing short of amazing! He makes you laugh in a time that can be so incredibly frustrating, but is also extremely professional and knows his stuff. My husband and I couldn’t say enough good things about him after every time we talked with him. Not only is he wonderful, but all of their staff and nurses are as well (Annapolis location). I had two nurses there during my time and really liked them both in different ways! The ladies who draw your blood are like magicians, you don’t even know they’re doing anything. And I loved the girls who do the ultrasounds as well! As happy as I was to graduate, I’m also sad because I can’t continue with them. They’re all great, I can’t say enough good things!!”
“We were always told my husband was unable to father a child. Shady Grove Fertility took impossible odds and made being parents our reality! Dr. McKeeby turned the impossible into our reality. Our 4% chance is here and he is so worth it. Thank you Shady Grove Fertility, Stacey and Dr. McKeeby and everyone else who contributed in our care there. We are forever grateful.”
“Before meeting Dr. Mckeeby we went through another route which left us hopeless. To my surprise his staff made my time there a breeze. And had our miracle girl 10/24/2013. Now we’re back to complete our family and couldn’t be more excited.”
“We are VERY HAPPY with Dr. McKeeby. We loved how he gave us hope that we were going to make a baby and that we had to first double check that everything was okay before we could start with process of creating a baby. By doing these steps we would be able to tell the best plan to reach fertilization. Which is something I really appreciated.”
“I was thrilled with Dr. McKeeby. He was sensitive, informative, and proactive.”
“Dr. McKeeby has been awesome! He explained everything and made me feel confident with a peace of mind.”
“I just wanted to thank Dr. McKeeby and all the nurses at the Annapolis office. Five months ago I had my baby boy! I would go through all the pain, worry and heartache again knowing that this was the light at the end of the tunnel. I could never thank you all enough for what you do!”
“Dr. McKeeby and the nurses at Shady Grove Fertility Annapolis were awesome. They made me feel like I was the only patient. They are very personable and showed genuine concern for my needs as well as excitement when I graduated.”
“Shady Grove Fertility is a wonderful place for fertility treatment – it is typically a long and tedious process, but so worth it! Dr. McKeeby invests majority of his time during the initial interview and spends over an hour getting to know you and your partner to figure out a personalized treatment plan. Much time is spent with you “ultrasoundess” and venipuncture ladies, who are efficient, kind, and professional. Dr. McKeeby works seamlessly with the office and the harmonious effort shows at each visit. I would highly encourage anyone struggling with conception to visit Shady Grove Fertility!”
“I really enjoyed meeting Dr. McKeeby during my new patient consultation earlier this week. He was warm and friendly and put me completely at ease. He seems incredibly knowledgeable about all levels of fertility issues. I walked away from my appointment really feeling like he cared and would help us achieve our dream of having a family. I highly recommend Dr. McKeeby to anyone having fertility issues.”
“We worked with Dr. McKeeby twice and had so much faith and trust in him. I was proud to be his patient.”
“Dr. McKeeby is a consciences, considerate, and an incredibly knowledgeable provider. We feel fortunate to have landed in his good care. Most the of the staff at Shady Grove Annapolis is outstanding. As a whole, they provide excellent care and input.”
“After trying for a year with another provider we decided to come to Shady Grove Fertility. The best decision we ever made. Dr. McKeeby and his staff were so patient and caring and he told me my case was very simple. Just once and we were pregnant with our miracle baby Anna. Now we’re expecting our second all through him. 20 weeks and counting. We’re very grateful. He’s a very kind soul.”
