As one of the largest fertility centers in the country, there are many things about Shady Grove Fertility that make us unique. One of these differentiating factors is the compassionate care provided by the 700+ employees, many of whom were, at one point or another, also a patient of Shady Grove Fertility. At SGF, we understand what our patients go through, because we have literally been in their shoes and walked their walk.
If you are not familiar with the Fight Song by Rachel Platten and are currently going through or have overcome infertility in the past, it is, to us, a must listen. This motivational song empowers those who feel as though they are, according to Rachel, a small boat on the ocean, which is exactly how infertility can make you feel. But instead, rather than letting that feeling consume you, you can take back your life, you can fight, and you are strong (read the lyrics). We felt as though the Fight Song represented Shady Grove Fertility as a whole: our patient community and our team including physicians, nurses, medical assistants, patient service representatives, practice development, human resources, the list goes on.
Our patients are fighting for their dream—the dream to have a family—and together, we fight for you and with you. A special thank you to the team members who shared their story with us in the SGF Fight Song Video and for the many more who have also shared their life, career, and journey to parenthood with us.
At Shady Grove Fertility, you will feel cared for, respected, and supported … every step of the way.
