Philadelphia Fertility Seminar

Fertility Grant Awardee Speaks at Shady Grove Fertility Patient Seminar in Philadelphia

Earlier this month, the Shady Grove Fertility community outreach team hosted a fertility seminar in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia to help couples explore the latest clinical and financial options available to help them conceive.

Isaac  E. Sasson, MD, PhD, a Shady Grove Fertility reproductive endocrinologist from our Chesterbrook, PA office, and New Patient Specialist, Kathy Houser, led the program sharing in-depth information about fertility treatments, success rates and financial options, including details about the 100% Refund Guarantee program for in vitro fertilization (IVF) and Donor Egg.

Next up was Megan, a current Shady Grove Fertility patient, who shared her personal journey with the participants telling them how she, just like them, sat in a Shady Grove Fertility seminar only a few months earlier wondering if she would ever become a mother. Through her experience with Shady Grove Fertility, Megan is more than a few steps closer, not only has she started treatment but she recently learned that she and her husband were to be awarded an $8,000 treatment grant from Pay it Forward Fertility to help defray the cost of care.  “My doctor and clinical care team at Shady Grove Fertility could not be more supportive,” said Megan. “I applied for eight grants and my doctor Eric Levens, MD wrote a letter on my behalf for each one of them. I feel like they are my family.” Megan encouraged everyone in the audience to not give up hope and read a beautiful poem that she says sustained her through many difficult times.

A question and answer period followed with the speakers fielding many excellent questions about specific situations, clinical options and the insurance and financial programs available through Shady Grove Fertility. All seminar participants were encouraged to schedule their complimentary new patient consultation with Dr. Sasson to explore their individual options in more depth.

Free Fertility Treatment Awarded

Finally, Megan pulled the name of the treatment cycle winner; a deserving young couple from central Pennsylvania, who had stopped treatment due to financial reasons.

“This was our first seminar since opening our full service offices in the Philadelphia area and we were overwhelmed with the response,” says Dr. Sasson. “We feel fortunate to have been able to speak directly to so many people about ways to access and afford the care they need to help them have a baby.”

Shady Grove Fertility will be hosting another IVF and Donor Egg Seminar on December 2nd and will again award a free treatment cycle worth up to $10,000 to a seminar participant*. Every seminar attendee will receive a complimentary new patient consultation.

An additional IVF & Donor Egg seminar will be held Thursday, November 29th in Falls Church, VA hosted by Dr. Eric Levens.  One free treatment cycle worth up to $10,000 will be given to a seminar attendee.

To schedule a new patient appointment call 1-877-985-2266 or watch this video to learn more about Dr. Sasson, Shady Grove Fertility and the 100% Refund Guarantee for IVF and Donor Egg.

*Some restrictions apply. Shady Grove Fertility employees and attendees of previous seminars are ineligible for the treatment cycle.

I Will Be A Wonderful Mother

Author Unknown

There are women who become mothers without effort, without thought, without patience or loss, and though they are good mothers and love their children, I know that I will be better.

I will be better not because of genetics or money or because I have read more books, but because I have struggled and toiled for this child.

I have longed and waited. I have cried and prayed. I have endured and planned over and over again. Like most things in life, the people who truly have appreciation are those who have struggled to attain their dreams.

I will notice everything about my child. I will take time to watch my child sleep, explore, and discover. I will marvel at this miracle every day for the rest of my life.

I will be happy when I wake in the middle of the night to the sound of my child, knowing that I can comfort, hold, and feed him and that I am not waking to take another temperature, pop another pill, take another shot or cry tears of a broken dream. My dream will be crying for me.

I count myself lucky in this sense; that God has given me this insight, this special vision with which I will look upon my child. Whether I parent a child I actually give birth to or a child that God leads me to, I will not be careless with my love.
I will be a better mother for all that I have endured.

Yes, I will be a wonderful mother.
