I am 43 going on 44 in April and have tried IUI with RMA of NJ for 4 tries now and I’m a single person. I want to have baby before I lose my chance. I know I’m getting older as well. I just don’t know if the grant is allowed for a single mom.

I am looking forward to applying this time. I just underwent surgery where the doctor found my left Fallopian tube attached to my bowel and was no longer functioning, tons of endometriosis & scar tissue. He had to close my left tube & said the only chance for us to conceive is through IVF. We are a one income family, I am 39 & I feel this would be our only chance to have a child of our own.

We really hope so too! The truth is that some fertility treatment can be costly, and for some people, that may make the decision to move forward that much more difficult. With grants like the Family Building Grant we hope that more patients will be able to access the care they need.
