Shady Grove Fertility Center is dedicated to providing the best service and quality of care to all its patients seeking fertility treatments. Even though medication is a vital piece of a patient’s treatment, our doctors and nurses understand that some patient’s insurance plans may not cover the cost of their medications. To help our patients obtain the necessary medication that is right for their course of treatment, Shady Grove Fertility Center participates in programs that provide medication discounts.

EMD Serono is committed to increasing access to fertility medication through the Compassionate Care patient assistance program. Compassionate Care is available to eligible patients who may not otherwise be able to afford fertility medication. So far, SGF patients have saved over $228,000 on medication using this program. For eligible patients with insurance, Gonal-f® Cares has conceived a new way to save money by reducing out-of-pocket costs with the Gonal-f® Co-Pay Savings Card. Now patients can save up to $200 per prescription every 21 day for Gonal-f® medications. Now, eligible self-pay patients can save approximately 10% on Gonal-f® medication on every cycle. With EMD Serono's new GO - Direct To Savings program, the more medication needed, throughout a patient's treatment, the more they will save. Fertility Assist 2 is a program designed to help cash-paying patients who may require a second IVF treatment cycle. Fertility Assist 2 offers savings up to $500 on Gonal-f® when you fill your prescriptions through Freedom Fertility Pharmacy™. To date, Shady Grove Fertility patients have saved over $300,000 using the Fertility Assist program. Shady Grove Fertility continues  to lead the way in patient savings using this program. DesignRx® has partnered with Schering Plough and offers patients discounts on medications ranging anywhere from 15% to 30% depending on which specialty pharmacy they choose. DesignRx® negotiates drug discounts on behalf of its membership and enforces its formulary through a carefully selected pharmacy network. The h.e.a.r.t.+ Pharmacy Savings Program helps cash-paying and insured patients save money on Ferring Pharmaceuticals fertility medications.
