Mrs. Sharon Covington received her graduate degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and Community Planning. She is a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work, with over 35 years of clinical experience. Mrs. Covington is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Georgetown University School of Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and an Associate Investigator in the Integrative Reproductive Medicine Unit at the National Institutes of Health. In addition, she is a founding member of the Mental Health Professional Group of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. Mrs. Covington is an internationally recognized expert on the psychological aspects of reproductive health and co-author/editor of Infertility Counseling: A Comprehensive Handbook for Clinicians.
