Dr. O'Brien received her medical degree from the Brown-Dartmouth Medical Program in Providence, RI and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Prentice Women's Hospital at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. In the three years following residency, Dr. O'Brien remained at Northwestern as a Clinical Instructor. She then completed fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Northwestern University and earned a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation. Dr. O'Brien has received numerous awards while at Northwestern related to research and resident teaching. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
