Sharon N. Covington, MSW-LCSW-C
Director of Psychological Support Services. Mrs. Covington is a licensed clinical social worker in Maryland and a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work. She is a nationally recognized expert on the psychological aspects of reproductive health. Mrs. Covington is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgetown University School of Medicine and co-author/editor of Infertility Counseling: A Comprehensive Handbook For Clinicians.

Patricia Sachs, LCSW-C
Mrs. Sachs has worked with individuals, couples, children and families in hospital, university and private practice settings. She has been on the counseling staff at Shady Grove Fertility since 1991, and her special interests include counseling patients undergoing IVF, treatment for secondary infertility, as well as those using donor gametes. Mrs. Sachs is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Maryland and the District of Columbia, and sees patients in the Rockville office.

Carol Toll, LCSW-C
Mrs. Toll has an extensive back-ground working with individuals, families, and groups. She has a special interest and expertise in issues related to women’s health, infertility, and cancer. Mrs. Toll is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Maryland and Virginia. Mrs. Toll sees patients in both the Rockville and Columbia offices.

Ellen Eule, LCSW-C
With 30 years experience, Mrs. Eule is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland and Washington,DC, and a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work. Mrs. Eule has worked with individuals, families and groups in many settings including HMOs, agencies and private practice. She has a special interest in assessment and issues related to grief and loss, adoption. She currently sees patients in the Frederick and Rockville offices.

Ms. Hanson has experience working with couples, families, and children in hospital, clinical, homecare, hospice, and agency settings. Her special interests include adoption, grief and loss, and infertility. Ms. Hanson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. She sees patients in the Annandale office.

Michelle Hester, LCSW-C
Mrs. Hester has thirty years of experience working with couples, individuals, and groups in a variety of settings. She has specialized in adoption services, both before and after placement, with interest in infertility, adoption, and early adjustment issues for new parents. Mrs. Hester is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She sees patients in the Georgetown and Maryland offices.

Carol Miller, LCSW
Ms. Miller has experience working with individuals, families, and groups in health care and hospice settings. Her special interests include infertility, pregnancy loss, grief, chronic illness, and mind/body therapies. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia and the District of Columbia. Ms. Miller sees patients in the Virginia offices.

Tara Simpson, Psy.D.
Dr. Simpson is a licensed psychologist in Maryland. Her special interests include providing counseling to individuals with issues related to reproductive health, including infertility. She is a member of the mental health professional group of ASRM (American Society for Reproductive Medicine). In addition, she is a member of American Psychological Association and Maryland Psychological Association. Dr. Simpson sees clients in the Baltimore office.
