GBMC Fertility Center Merges
with Shady Grove Fertility Center

We are pleased to announce that the physicians and staff of The GBMC Fertility Center will be merging with Shady Grove Fertility Reproductive Science Center as of June 1, 2007. The GBMC Fertility Center opened in 1984 and has earned a solid reputation among the medical and patient communities as the leading fertility center in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. Historically, GBMC has performed more treatment cycles with higher pregnancy rates than any other fertility center in Baltimore. GBMC and Shady Grove’s combined experience has resulted in more than 15,000 babies born through fertility treatment and, in addition, has produced several pioneering technologies that have impacted the field of infertility as a whole.

Shady Grove Fertility at GBMC is unique in that is a full-service Fertility Center, which includes an on-site surgical center, embryology, and andrology laboratories for IVF procedures. Patients who are seen at our Baltimore office will continue to have their retrievals and transfers performed locally. Our Baltimore IVF Center Laboratories are now under the direction of Michael J. Tucker, PhD, a world-renowned scientist and thought leader in the area of Human Embryology.
